THERE IS A REASON...

In life we, sometimes, feel like we have everything well covered and everything seems to be going as per our plan. But, what happens when things take a U-turn? When you have prayed and fasted and the situation gets worse? Do you give up on God and prayer? I have been there before and felt my life turning upside down. I even wondered where God was!

1 Thess 5:17-18:  17 Pray without ceasing.18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

I know many can relate to this scenario or know someone who went through the same. It’s in this situation that I learnt to seek God even the more. I learnt to praise and thank Him in the storm amidst tears. It’s in this season that I realized HE was there! That when HE said HE will never leave me nor forsake me, HE meant it!

Deut 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."(NIV)

Sometimes, God wants to speak to you as an individual and will allow stuff to happen so that HE gets your attention. We are in this world but not of this world. Our lives belong to HIM; as long as you surrender to HIM, you will have to move as HE speaks. In the high waters, in the fire, on the mountains and in the valleys just move!!HE is with you.

In everything we go through, God is always working behind the scenes . We normally don’ t understand it for at that time our minds are clouded by the issue at hand, and the tears in our eyes blocks the view of what God has in store for us. Even in an exam room, the teacher is always silent but watching; the same applies to God. HE may be silent when we go through tests, but working behind the scenes for our good (Jer 29:11) It‘s only after we have sobered up, and ready to hear from HIM that we get to see the clear print of what happened and what He wants us to do.

Then the Tests become Testimonies, the Mess becomes a message, and like fine gold, you come out of the fire purer and refined for the Glory of His Name.
May HIS will prevail over your life.

Shalom!
